Il-Media Sportiva llum qed tiċċelebra l-Jum Dinji ddedikat għall-ġurnaliżmu sportiv

By |July 2nd, 2018|0 Comments

L-AIPS li hi l-Assoċjazzjoni Internazzjonali tal-Media tal-Isport tagħti importanza kbira lil dan il-jum fejn tfakkar lil dawk il-ġurnalisti kollha li ħadmu fil-passat u li għadhom qed jaħdmu għal ġid ta' din il-professjoni. L-AIPS kienet twaqqfet fit-2 ta' Lulju tas-sena 1924 f'Pariġi fi Franza fejn l-ewwel laqgħa kienet saret fuq ring tal-boxing u għalhekk l-Assoċjazzjoni baqgħet għal dawn is-snin kollha ġġorr l-isem bil-Franċiż: Association Internationale de la Presse Sportive. Għal din l-okkażjoni l-President tal-AIPS it-Taljan Gianni Merlo bagħat messaġġ ta' solidarjetà u kuraġġ lil-media sportiva madwar id-dinja hekk kif dan qal li qegħdin ngħixu f'era ta' sfidi kbar biż-żieda tal-popolarità tal-mezzi soċjali u ż-żieda tal-Fake News. Charles Camenzuli min-naħa tiegħu li hu l-President tal-fergħa Ewropeja tal-AIPS qal li dawn huma żminijiet eċitanti għall-media tal-Isport fi żminijiet ta' sfidi kbar b'mod partikolari sfidi teknoloġiċi fl-industrija tal-media. Il-President tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports Sandro Micallef f'messaġġ fuq Facebook qal li l-membri tal-Media Sportiva Maltija iridu jingħaqdu [...]

During yesterday's Malta Sports Journalists Association's Annual General Meeting, Lorraine Cunningham was confirmed as General Secretary, after Mark Mizzi stepped down from this role. President Sandro Micallef thanked Mark Mizzi on behalf of the Executive Committee and all the associated members, for the hard work and dedication shown by him for being instrumental in the various MSJA's activities. Lorraine Cunningham who was the only candidate to occupy the post of General Secretary was unanimously approved by those present at the AGM. This proved to be a mile stone in the Maltese Sports Journalism and of course for the MSJA to have the first female General Secretary in history.
