Sebastian Hoeneß the new hope of the season 2023/2024?

So, they hired the new coach Sebastian Hoeneß. He had a good start; he won his first six games with the team and 4 were draw. Hoeneß saved them from relegation last season and wants to start the next season more successfully. Hoeneß also has a player past himself, he played once at Hertha BSC II. To prepare for a good season, Hoeneß and the coaching staff planned a training camp because VFB wanted to prepare tactics and build team chemistry for the upcoming season. Danica Bonello Spiteri presented with TGS Fair Play Award for the April-June period

The Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) has announced that the tenth TGS Malta Fair Play Award, has been awarded to veteran triathlete Danica Bonello Spiteri. This is the second award for the year 2023, covering the April–June-period. This award has been recently revamped by the MSJA in collaboration with the Malta Fair Play Movement and Together Gaming Solutions. The award is aimed at sporting individuals or teams that would have distinguished themselves with an altruistic gesture of fair play during official and/or non-official competitions. L-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports bi pjaċir tħabbar l-għaxar TGS Fair Play Award, li ġie mogħti lit-triatleta veterana Danica Bonello Spiteri. Dan huwa t-tieni unur għas-sena 2023, li jkopri l-perjodu bejn April u Ġunju 2023. Dan l-unur li dan l-aħħar ingħatatlu dehra ġdida, huwa frott tal-kolaborazzjoni li l-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports għandha mal-Malta Fair Play Movement u Together Gaming Solutions. Dan il-premju huwa intiż għal dawk fil-qasam tal-isport kemm fuq livell individwali jew bħala tim għal mod altruwistiku ta’ Fair Play f’kompetizzjoni/ijiet uffiċjali jew le. New agreement between National Lottery and Malta Sports Journalists Association

IZIBET Elite Athlete Award launched National Lottery plc, in collaboration with the Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA), unveiled a new bi-monthly award exclusively dedicated to elite Maltese athletes. The IZIBET Elite Athlete Award aims to recognise exceptional performances by local athletes and will be presented every two months covering  the periods  January–February, March-April, May-June, July–August, September-October, and November–December. A selection board comprised of sports journalists and sports observers will be responsible for evaluating the athletes' achievements during the designated review periods, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment process. The inaugural award, covering the period May–June 2023, was awarded to Malta’s Trap Champion, Gianluca Chetcuti. Chetcuti has beaten a national record of 124/125 target hits in the Trap Event, at the European Games 2023, held in the Wroclaw Shooting Centre in Poland, between the 21st June and 2nd July 2023.
