Din kienet partita bejn it-tim li rebaħ il-kampjonat iġifieri Sliema kontra Qormi li rebħu l-kompetizzjoni knock-out. Il-Qriema ma serqu xejn u kkontrollaw il-logħob tul l-erba' quarters u ma kinitx sorpriża li ħarġu rebbieħa. Kien Juan Sarcia li poġġa lil Qormi fil-vantaġġ wara azzjoni ta' penalty corner sabiex il-gowlkiper Emile Borg ġie megħlub. Wara li fit-tieni quarter ma ġie skorjat l-ebda gowl, Qormi ħarġu ferm tajjeb u skorjaw wara 30 sekonda permezz ta' Kyle Micallef li f'azzjoni veloċi reġa' ssorprenda lil Borg. Fir-raba' quarter, Qormi ssiġġillaw ir-rebħa grazzi għall-gowl ta' Steve Tanti li wara li ra x-xutt fil-baxx tiegħu jaħbat mal-wieqfa mir-rebound kien l-istess plejer li żerżaq il-ballun ġewwa. Fi tmiem il-konfront setgħu jibdew iċ-ċelebrazzjonijiet ta' Qormi li laħqu l-qofol tagħhom hekk kif il-membru tal-eżekuttiv Robert Busuttil ippreżenta t-tazza [...]
