AIPS Europe President Charles Camenzuli had an official meeting with Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament. During the meeting were discussed various matters, with Mr Camenzuli raising the issue related to the Petitions that AIPS Europe have filed over the past years with the European Parliament. The President of the European Parliament took note of the current situation certain media establishments are facing. This includes payments for transmission rights as well as instances during which payments have been requested for the issuing of accreditations. The President of AIPS Europe referred to the importance of having a European Commissioner for Sport. He also mentioned particular problems that are being faced in Europe by sport media while exercising their profession. Cherise Farrugia (Tiġrijiet taż-Żwiemel) u Graham Pellegrini (Atletika) huma r-rebbieħa għax-xahar ta’ Frar 2024 tal-unur tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħ/a tax-Xahar li min din is-sena qed ikollu żewġ rebbieħa kull xahar. Cherise Farrugia, li għandha 19-il sena, irreġistrat il-ħamsin rebħa fil-karriera tagħha, nhar it-Tnejn 26 ta’ Frar fuq id-debba Hanouchka. Cherise Farrugia (Horse Racing) and Graham Pellegrini (Track and Field Athlete) are the two winners of the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month Award, following their respective successes during the month of February 2024. As of this year, the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month Award is being awarded to two young athletes for their national and international achievements, respectively. Cherise Farrugia, aged 19, secured the 50th win of her career when she won the Class Bronze race with Hanouchka on Monday 26th February. Cherise Farrugia started this sport at a very young age and used to attend  the Horse Racing Academy at the Marsa Racetrack..  Her first victory came on the 1st of November 2020 with the horse named Erromanga just a few weeks after she obtained her official licence Graham Pellegrini, also aged 19,  set a national record in the 400m while representing Malta at the Balkan [...]

Qormi Daikin lifted the Hockey Super Cup after beating Trust Payments Floriana Young Stars 3-1 in the final. Daniel Ellul opened the score for Qormi Daikin in the first quarter, and Floriana's immediate reply came from Anton Saliba. The second and third quarters ended goalless, but in the final quarter, Qormi scored through Juan Sarcia and Luke Bajada. Qormi Daikin's celebrations reached their utmost when Malta Sports Journalists Association's Executive Committee Member Robert Busuttil presented the Super Cup to Qormi's player Nathan Pace Gasan.
