GSSE 2023 - Day 5 Recap We're gripped with Gold Fever! Malta's sporting fans and the general public are living a dream that has surpassed our wildest expectations. Our athletes are performing like never before and the crowds are rejoicing. On Day 5 we saw packed stands everyone eager to shout Malta Malta!! As we reached the last day of competition, we still have more medals to win - The athletes need your support - don't let them down! We are now with 25 Gold medals which is the same amount that Cyprus has but as far as totals go we are still behind them in 2nd place as then have 3 more Silver and 3 more Bronze than us. GSSE 2023 Day 4 has been another incredible day with over the top performances by our athletes. A total of 18 medals won today where 8 of them were GOLD with 5 of our athletes taking their 2nd Gold - Kyle Micallef, Claire Azzopardi, Gina Mcnamara, Camella Iacob and Renata Strbikova. GSSE 2023 Day 3 Another satisfactory day for the Maltese contingent with our fair share of medals including 3 Gold taking our total of Gold Medals to 12. Two Silver medals were added as well as 2 Bronze. We look forward to another positive day today with expectations of more medals.
