With preparations for the 62nd edition of the SportMalta Awards Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali in full swing, the Organising Committee can confirm that amongst the international guests  this year there will be the AIPS Vice President, Iannis Daras from Greece. The Malta Sports Journalists Association also invited the President of the Cyprus Sports Journalists Association,  Erodotos Miltiadous, who will also be attending this year’s edition of the SportMalta Awards Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali to be held on Saturday 23rd April and transmitted live on TVM News+ at 20:45. The final night will start with the Red Carpet at 20:00, which will be streamed live on social media on the Facebook pages of Malta Sports Journalists Association and Be-Active SportMalta. Tħabbru l-finalisti tal-edizzjoni ta’ din is-sena ta’ SportMalta Awards Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali li se jirrikonoxxu l-kisbiet sportivi tas-sena 2021. Il-ġurnalisti membri tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sport li vvutaw kienu jammontaw għal 69 sabiex issa tħabbru l-ħames finalisti għal kull kategorija. Intant f’konferenza stampa li saret fis-Sala Teddie Borg fil-Kumpless Sportiv ta' SportMalta fil-Kottonera u li xxandret diretta fuq il-midja soċjali, il-Ministru għall-Edukazzioni, l-lsport, lt-Żgħażagħ, ir-Riċerka u l-lnnovazzjoni Clifton Grima qal li kien ta’ pjaċir għalih li kien qed jattendi għal din iċ-ċerimonja ta’ tħabbira tal-finalisti wara n-nuqqas tas-sena l-oħra fejn saret biss iċ-ċerimonja finali. The finalists of this year’s Sport Malta Awards Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali were announced. This event is aimed to acknowledge the sporting achievements acquired during the year 2021. A total of 69 journalists who are members of the Malta Sports Journalists Association had to cast their vote for the five finalists in each category. During a press conference held at the Teddie Borg Hall at SportMalta’s Cottonera Sports Complex, which was transmitted live on social media, the Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation Clifton Grima congratulated all of those who made it to the semi-finals and wished success to those who are now the finalists of this edition.
