TGS Malta Fair Play Award

The Malta Sports Journalists Association (MSJA) has announced that the fourth award for the year 2023, covering the October-December-period, has been awarded to George Muscat. The awarded act of Fair Play occurred during the 2nd race at the Malta Equidrome held on the 5th of November, during which there was an incident at the end of the race which for many went unnoticed. Nearing the end of the race the driving bridle of mare Capuchin came loose thus putting in difficulty young driver Clint Gauci who had no way of controlling the horse and consequently unable to stop without causing an accident.   During the month of January, the Malta Fair Play Movement is evaluating entries related to the Fair Play concept that associations, sports officials and athletes might have witnessed during the October-December 2023 period. All sports associations, federations and even the public are kindly asked to submit details of events, competitions, and/or training sessions where an act of Fair Play has been witnessed. In addition, information regarding athlete(s), team(s), or official(s) involved is also required. You are kindly requested to send the nominations via email to info@maltasportsjournalists.com by no later than 29th January 2024.

  Matul ix-xahar ta’ Jannar, il-Malta Fair Play Movement se tkun qed tevalwa kull dħul relatat mal-kunċett ta’ Fair Play li l-assoċjazzjonijiet, uffiċjali sportivi jew l-atleti jkunu ltaqgħu miegħu matul il-perjodu minn Ottubru sa Diċembru (2023). L-assoċjazzjonijiet sportivi kollha, federazzjonijiet u wkoll il-pubbliku ġenerali huwa mitlub jgħaddi dettalji ta’ ġrajjiet, kompetizzjonijiet, jew / u sessjonijiet ta’ taħriġ, fejn kien xhud ta’ att ta’ Fair Play. Barra minn dan, hu meħtieġ ukoll dettalji dwar l-atleta/i, tim/ijiet, jew uffiċjal/i.
