TGS Malta Fair Play Award

The Malta Fair Play Movement’ has announced the sixth TGS Malta Fair Play Award, in collaboration with Malta Sports Journalists Association and Together Gaming Solutions. The adjudicating panel is formed by Charles Camenzuli, Adele Muscat, Pierre Cassar, Kevin Joseph Azzopardi and Sandro Micallef. This award is aimed at sporting individuals or teams who would have distinguished themselves with an altruistic gesture of fair play during official and/or non-official competitions. The second award for this year 2022, covering the April–June period, was given to Special Olympics Malta. The Maltese contingent, formed by over 400 athletes in six different disciplines, participated in the Special Olympics Invitational Games held in Malta, with an impressive tally of 65 gold, 60 silver and 67 bronze medals. Il-Malta Fair Play Movement ħabbar il-ħames TGS Malta Fair Play Award, wara li l-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports u Together Gaming Solutions ġeddew il-kollaborazzjoni tagħhom f’dan l-impenn konġunt. Dan il-premju huwa intiż għal dawk li fil-qasam tal-isport kemm fuq livell individwali jew bħala tim ikunu wettqu ġest altruwistiku ta' fair play f’kompetizzjoni/ijiet uffiċjali jew le. L-ewwel unur għas-sena 2022, li jkopri l-perjodu bejn Jannar u Marzu ngħata Lee Pisani, li jilgħab ma’ Fgura United FC. Nhar il-Ħadd 20 ta’ Frar, waqt logħba mill-BOV Challenge League Grupp B kontra Mgarr United, Pisani kien involut ma’ Samuel Saldanha ta’ Mgarr United waqt taqtigħa għall-pussess tal-ballun. The Malta Fair Play Movement has announced the fifth TGS Malta Fair Play Award, after the Malta Sports Journalists Association and Together Gaming Solutions renewed their collaboration on this joint initiative. This award is aimed at sporting individuals or teams who would have distinguished themselves with an altruistic gesture of fair play during official and/or non-official competitions. The first award for this year 2022, covering the January–March period, was given to Lee Pisani, who plays for Fgura United FC. On Sunday 20th February, in a BOV Challenge League Group B match against Mgarr United, Pisani was involved with Mgarr's Samuel Saldanha during a struggle for ball possession. Pisani fell on the Brazilian’s feet and seriously injured him. After this accident, Pisani wrote him a card in Portuguese and contacted Mgarr United's staff requesting a visit at the hospital to see the player.
