Mireya Cassar receives the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month trophy for April 2022

Atlas Insurance hosted a presentation for hammer thrower Mireya Cassar who was awarded the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month Award for the month of April 2022.

Due to Cassar’s undergoing professional training in Germany, Atlas Insurance and the Malta Sports Journalists Association had to wait for her arrival in Malta to represent our country for the Athletics Championships for Small States of Europe. This official presentation of the award and the sports apparel voucher were presented to Mireya Cassar by Robert Micallef, Chief Commercial Officer of Atlas Insurance. The Malta Sports Journalists Association was represented by President Sandro Micallef.

This monthly award is a joint initiative of the Malta Sports Journalists Association and Atlas Insurance. The adjudicating panel of this award takes note of all the youths' achievements of the month under review and at the same time it invites local sport associations and federations to send in their nominations for consideration if they feel that any of their under-21 athletes have distinguished themselves during that month. All the monthly winners are eligible for the annual award.

Mireya Cassar tirċievi t-trofew tal-Atlas Atleta Żagħżuha tax-Xahar għal April 2022

Atlas Insurance ħejjew preżentazzjoni għal Mireya Cassar (Hammer Throw) li rebħet l-Atlas Atleta Żagħżugħa tax-Xahar għal April 2022.

Minħabba li bħalissa Cassar qed titħarreġ b'mod professjonali fil-Ġermanja, Atlas Insurance flimkien mal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports kellhom jistennew il-wasla tagħha f’Malta, sabiex tirrappreżenta lill-pajjiżna fil-Kampjonati tal-Atletika tal-Pajjiżi ż-Żgħar. Il-preżentazzjoni uffiċjali ta’ dan it-trofew u l-vawċer ta’ abiljament sportiv abbinat ma’ dan il-premju ingħataw lil Mireya Cassar minn Robert Micallef, Chief Commercial Officer ta' Atlas Insurance. F’isem l-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports kien hemm preżenti l-President Sandro Micallef.

Dan il-premju ta' kull xahar jingħata b'inizjattiva konġunta tal-Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports flimkien ma' Atlas Insurance. Il-panel li jiġġudika r-rebbieħa ta' dan il-premju jieħu nota tas-suċċessi miksuba matul dak ix-xahar u fl-istess ħin jistieden lill-assoċjazzjonijiet u federazzjonijiet sportivi sabiex jibagħtu n-nomini tagħhom. In-nominati li jiġu evalwati jridu jkunu taħt il-21 sena. Ir-rebbieħa ta’ kull xahar huma eliġibli għall-premju annwali.
